Community Health Workshops
Community Health Workshops are an opportunity to learn more about your health and how to provide your own healthcare at home. Many of those around us, particularly older generations, depended much less on visits to the doctor's office or the emergency room than we do today. At Third Root, we value returning to a home health tradition, where the first care is offered and taught in the home.
The community health workshops offered by Third Root practitioners focus on at least one of the healing modalities that we specialize in at Third Root — massage, yoga, acupuncture, and Chinese and Western herbal medicine. We also reserve time every weekend for community members to offer workshops in a specialty of their choosing. We recognize the wealth of knowledge and skills in our community, and we invite you to share with us and other community members at Third Root.
