Moran Ben-Shaul Lantner

DSCN1676Moran Lantner began the practice and study of yoga in 1999. Inspiration to teach came after traveling in India, practicing various types of yoga there, and doing Vipasana meditation retreats, through which she developed awareness for body-mind-soul connection. She focused on Iyengar Yoga, studying it for 7 years in Israel, and assisting senior teachers in Tel-Aviv and Jerusalem. She continued this path in New York, taking a teacher training program with senior teachers Mary Dunn and James Murphy at the Iyengar Institute in Manhattan, and is currently a certified Iyengar yoga instructor, Introductory 2 level. While going through the certification process, Moran also traveled again to India, to study with the Iyengar family in Pune.  She has been teaching Iyengar Yoga for the last 7 years, in Brooklyn.

She continued teaching through her 2 pregnancies, and has two young daughters. Moran attended workshops with senior teachers such as Patricia Walden, Dynn Lerner, Joan White, Setphanie Quirk and Faeq Biria.
