Join Third Root teacher Sophia Holly for a relaxing candlelit restorative yoga class. Sophia will lead you through a 90-minute yoga practice that begins with gentle movement and then progresses to restorative poses that are held for longer periods of time. You can expect long holds in comfortable passive postures that utilize props, gravity, and breathing to stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system. The workshop will conclude with 30 minutes of Yoga Nidra, also called yogic sleep, to promote a state of deep, conscious relaxation. Please wear warm, comfortable clothing and socks. Blankets are provided but you are welcome to bring your own favorite cozy blanket or eye pillow.
