Together we will practice yoga and use affirmations, dancing, intention setting, meditation and journaling to gently open your heart, look inside, feel and heal.
A safe space will be created for healing and heartfelt dialogue to take place. Please come with an open mind to this introspective and interactive workshop and bring your journal.

Olivia Quiroz is a Massage Therapist, Yoga Teacher and a Holistic Heath Counselor. She is passionate about health and wellness bringing harmony to the body, mind and spirit.
Olivia is a New York State Licensed Massage Therapist. She received her Associate Degree in Occupational Studies at the College of Massage Therapy at the Swedish Institute in New York City in January 2002. There she trained in both Eastern and Western forms of massage therapy and bodywork. Olivia has worked as an Adjunct Instructor and continues to work as a Student Supervisor at the Swedish Institute. She holds certifications in working with individuals with cancer and geriatric massage.
Olivia is a Certified Holistic Health Counselor who graduated in 2007 from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. She uses holistic counseling to help individuals balance their lives focusing on the areas of nutrition, physical activity, spiritual practices, profession and relationships.
Olivia received her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Certification in the summer of 2015 from Revolution Yoga in Long Island. She will begin teaching here at Third Root in the Rising Teacher program in July 2016. Olivia enjoys working with individuals helping them use their yoga practice to heal on multiple levels. Olivia participated in the Yoga in Action workshop in May 2016 which is drawn from Off the Mat. There she learned to work in community with other activists powerfully linking yoga with social justice work.
Olivia is a practicing Nicherin Buddhist and grew up in the faith. The ideals of the practice are to help each individual tap into and achieve their highest potential and to create peace on earth with people from all walks of life and faiths. Massage and Yoga naturally flow with this premise of peace and happiness as it helps to bring the body, mind and spirit to balance and harmony. Olivia states massage, yoga and counseling are her callings; she loves helping people feel better mentally, spiritually and emotionally.
Olivia is on a journey of personal transformation and social change; she is passionate about using affirmations as a powerful aid in manifesting the life that you want. She follows the teachings of Iyanla Van Zant, Louise Hay, Marianne Williamson and Melodie Beattie just to name a few. Olivia plans to provide lectures on self love and empowerment in the near future.
