Exhale to Inhale (ETI) is a non-profit organization that uses the healing practice of trauma- informed yoga to empower survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. The ETI approach is based in choice-making, safety, and simplicity.
Beginning on Sunday, Feb 3 through March 31, Third Root will be hosting weekly ETI trauma-informed yoga classes. These classes will create space for trauma survivors to reconnect to their bodies and their ability to make choices for themselves.
Everyone is welcome and anyone can benefit.
Classes are offered on a sliding scale, $5-25. Contributions will go towards supporting Exhale to Inhale programming and Third Root.
Jeesoo Park is a certified Hot Power & Vinyasa Flow Yoga instructor. She teaches private clients and group classes at Pure Yoga in New York City.A former Division I track athlete and competitive equestrian, Jeesoo ensures her sequences are empowering and challenging, designed to help yogis sweat out the stress and feel strong everyday. Jeesoo is also trained in yoga for trauma survivors, volunteer-teaching informed sessions to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault with non-profit, Exhale to Inhale. Jeesoo is CPR certified, and can incorporate gentler sequences for beginners.
