Casey Leigh Carty is a licensed acupuncturist in New York state, and graduate from the Tri-State College of Acupuncture in New York City. Having studied under renowned masters as Kiiko Matsumoto, Dr. Mark Seem, and Lori Eve Dechar, she is well seasoned in Classical Chinese, Japanese, Five Element and Trigger Point acupuncture.
Casey believes acupuncture therapy is based on mutual understanding and interconnectedness between practitioner and patient. With a focus on connecting you with your more radiant Self, her treatments are deeply rooted in activating mind-body cohesion and awakening the bodies own inherent vitality. By utilizing needles and moxa, Tui Na and Gua Sha, guided visualization and breath-work, Casey specializes in treating chronic and acute pain conditions, mental and emotional disorders, addiction, trauma, and major life changes. Her progressive and joyful pathway to healing and restoration combines classical tradition, intuitiveness, observation, and contemporary orthopedic assessment. Each treatment is directed at encouraging and supporting the individual in their journey to discovering a healthful and harmonious life.
As an artist, and former graduate from the School of Visual Arts, Casey relishes in projects that inspire her heart. Her acupuncture practice, is a delightful extension of her creative process, manifesting pure light and dynamism. She enjoys being outside connecting to the earth and the stars, as much as she is charmed by the romanticized chaos of city life. Casey is also the mother to a beautiful seven year old boy who helps keep her feet planted firmly to the ground, and enchanted by the magic that is this life.
