Reclaiming Alignment is an eight (8) day practice retreat and energetic detox cleanse that centers accessibility, varying bodies and QTBIPOC family in moving through the transitions of the spring and fall equinoxes. Beginning on Monday, March 15th-March 22nd, B. Anderson, holistic health and Ayurvedic medicine practitioner will be joined by hatha/vinyasa yoga teacher, KiKi Williams and musician Marcus Gilmore, to offer a virtual retreat supporting us in redefining our relationship to health through a practice of honoring our complete wholeness and reclaiming our innate creativity in the light of the Spring Equinox. On March 18th and 20th, we will be joined by guest teachers Erika Totten and LiZhen Wang for evening practice. We will also be working with an herbal tea specially made for this group by Vivian Mac of Willow’s Touch.
The daily practice and accompanying 8 day cleanse is geared toward the natural elimination of toxins and radical agents that get collected in the body often as a consequence of how systemic oppression, trauma and stressors in and out of control impact the mind, heart and spirit.
The structure for our time together will include:
- 6:30-7:00am EST – guided morning restorative yoga and accessible sun salutations (zoom)
- 7:00-7:30am EST – guided meditation and daily ritual practice (zoom)
- 12:00pm EST – daily check-in and support messages (group message board/chat group)
- 8:00pm EST – evening practice offering (video recording)
Daily ritual practices to include: breathwork, writing, divination and/or personal affirmation work.
Those interested in participating from various time zones will receive a recording for the guided practice and a daily morning reminder to help inspire and support their participation and self commitment to the retreat.
