Resilience, grit, perseverance, stamina, steadfastness…. How do we bounce back from the many challenges life throws at us: the difficulty of letting go of patterns that are no longer serving us, forming new habits, difficult life events and situations, systems and histories that are weighing us down…? In this workshop we’ll explore both tools that can help us adapt to a variety of challenges thrown in our paths, expand our capacity to be with discomfort and situations beyond our control, plus nourish our needs for rest and rejuvenation. Communally we’ll identify habits we’ve already found feed us, plus ways that yoga and other wellness modalities are designed to help us bounce back when life feels like it’s pulling us down.
This workshop will employ a “discussion & do” format. We’ll talk a bit and explore some self-care together; options for movement will be offered, so dress comfortably if that appeals to you.
