First Tuesday of the Month – Next Workshop May 4

This 60-min. workshop-style series will offer students movement and mindfulness tools for managing pain and injury. The class will be grounded in yoga asana, pranayama (breathing), and meditation. It will also draw from a variety of mind-body practices, such as Alexander Technique, Buddhist Vipassana (mindfulness) and Metta (lovingkindness) meditation, Pilates, Body-Mind-Centering, and somatic dance forms. In a small group setting, students will have the opportunity to address particular concerns they may have, as well as connect with others in community. Throughout the series, the focus will be on building trust in our bodies and compassion for ourselves.
